Rosemead Surgery

This is a 4 GP (all female, all part time) practice in purpose built premises, only a stones throw from the River Thames. We are lucky to have a very loyal and experienced staff who have been at the practice for many many years. The practice has 7000 patients and we are spoilt in that they are educated and empowered, generally incredibly nice and helpful.
We have two trainers and our two non trainer partners participate in tutorials and share their wealth of experience and knowledge. We have diabetes specialisms, family planning and coils and implants, minor surgery and joint injections on site. There are numerous training opportunities for registrars at Rosemead including weekly management meeting and weekly clinical meetings. We cover nursing homes, and elderly patients living in their homes right through to newborns and young familiies. Additionally we have a fantastic primary health care team and work very closely with district nurses and community teams. We like to manage our palliative care cases within the practice and offer excellent experience for registrars in this area.

We are an extremely friendly, supportive practice and we all have our own rooms. The Registrar will have their own consulting room and the trainer is next door. We have an open door policy to encourage the registrars to ask questions and really gain as much learning from each clinical experience as possible. Registrars are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the practice, including the practice management, patient participation groups, website, policy and protocols and clinical referrals and prescribing.

We welcome registrars as an integral part of our team and look forward to you joining our us at Rosemead.
