Datchet Health Centre is a 10,400 patient practice which covers the villages of Datchet, Wraysbury, Horton and Old Windsor. We are situated in Datchet village centre which is close to the picturesque River Thames. We are easily accessed from the M4 and the M25 and are on the train line from London Waterloo to Windsor. Windsor is a 5 minute drive from the surgery.
We are a 6 doctor practice with 2 trainers, but all the staff enjoy training and play an important part in supporting the Specialist Trainees. We extended in 2011 specifically with training in mind and now have a fully equipped dedicated Specialist Trainee’s room as well as a tutorial room / library.
Our practice population is very diverse, which provides lots of opportunities for training at Datchet and makes it even more interesting and rewarding. We look after the primary care needs of a local residential home and 2 homes for people with learning disabilities. Our specialty clinics include: diabetes / respiratory diseases / women’s health / children’s immunisations / ante-natal and minor ops.
