Magnolia House

Magnolia HouseThis is a practice that has been actively involved with training in the Windsor scheme since the 1970s. What we value most is a close atmosphere of coordinated team working combined with high standards of clinical practice, and this goes from strength to strength. The practice manages the health of around 10,000 patients. Eight doctors (four ladies) combine generalist skills with special interests that include cardiology, diabetes, breast medicine, and minor surgery. We look after two nursing homes. Naturally we have a full complement of team members including a practice counsellor and district nurses on site. We are fully computerised and paperless and have a progressive outlook.

There is of course a great deal to cover in the Registrar year. Much as we want to ensure that our Registrar has all the necessary experience required of the year, it is also very important to us that the year is looked back on with a sense of satisfaction and fun.

I would be very happy to discuss any aspect of training with prospective Registrars or curious others so feel free to call, e-mail me, or arrange a meeting.
